Draft: The Dragon Tunnels--Jack

Thump. I got in.

Wait--I need to start at the beginning about 150 years ago. Tunnels were built into Berkwood Hedge. They had lots of rooms but the biggest room was the library. A vampire lived in the tunnels. One day he got a stake in his heart and died. He was never seen again.

In 2007, me, Joseph, and a lot of other second graders found the tunnels. Wait--rewind--zzzzz--we were actually kindergarteners. We were digging right above the library. We thought it was a dragon's lair. Now, back to where we were, me, Joseph, and the others. We found the entrance in the file cabinet. You find a file and pull and it opens a door, but we didn't get in.

So, I'm in the tunnel now. I walked in them, some had bats. It sorta creeped me out but I kept on walking. I got to the library, the books had all been burned except one, Dragon. I opened it. BOOOO-- BOOM!. SHHHH. FFGGGGRRR. AHHH. A dragon ten feet tall blasted a fire ball. I dodged and ran.

I got out and closed the door just in time. Slam. Thud.

One hundred and fifty years later my great, (100 more), great grandkids found records of the vampire. They got an interview with the cousin of the vampire. He said, "It's hard being a vampire everyone thinks you're evil. It's hard to live in society that's why the tunnels were built, for a place to see your own kind." "Wow," they said, "can we have a photo." "Yes."

Now I have gone looking for important information to write this story. Poof! Poof! Poof! I walked through the old tunnels to find records of the vampire then I realized it was getting hotter and hotter. Then I saw a light in the library. Then a dragon 20 feet long. BOOM! FFFFF. AHHH! It missed. I ran SSSSS. AHHHH! Can't crawl out. Grab my hand if you want to live. So I did, and it pulled me out. AHHH! A giant spider 50 feet tall. It bit me, everything went black. When I woke up I was a vampire. I vant to suck your blood. And I became Dracula.
