A wolf pack was about to leave their den and go hunting.
Suddenly, they spot a moose. They sneak up slowly and make a circle around him.
A couple of the wolves jump on him, he fights back and the wolves retreat.
The moose is relieved. But, soon the wolves return. They do the same thing. They disappear again. By the way the wolves in this pack are big.
The moose is relieved. But, the wolves are back and they jump on him. This time he is too weak to fight so they bring him down and kill him by biting his leg.
As they eat, blood is flowing like a river staining the snow red. As they reach the center of the moose, the leader gets to something slimy, it is the heart. He eats it with gusto.
