Draft: untitled--Chaia

My mom, brother and I were at the grocery store (Andronico's). My dad was running while we were shopping. I was chasing my brother around the store and my mom was on the phone with my dad. My mom said our car was STOLEN. Du, du, du, du-u-u-u-u. I froze. I felt kind of bad. I cried a little.

My mom hugged me. We paid for our things and left. My mom called our neighbor to see if they could come to pick us up because my mom doesn't know how to drive. It was also cold. Our neighbor came to pick us up. We went to their house because the other problem was when we left our house my mom forgot her keys and the only neighbor that did have our keys was on a trip.

My dad's keys were in his backpack along with his wallet, cell phone, and i-pod. His backpack was in the stolen car. It had to be that day: the car got stolen and my mom forgot her keys.

Anyway, back to us. We had dinner at our neighbor's house, and we also watch a little t.v. so I could get my mind off the car. When we were eating dinner my mom came into the room and said my dad was home. I ran outside to go give him a hug. He was talking to the police.

After he talked the police, he came inside, ate dinner, and my mom and my dad called the credit card companies and figured everything out. After they called the credit card companies, my mom, brother, and dad went home and luckily one of the windows was open and there was a hedge right under the window.

They popped the screen out and climbed in. A little later I came home and we all had a happy sleep. P.S. The next day the police found the car but not the backpack.
