Draft: The Story of the Little Lily Lake by Sana Azim

Hi, my name is Lily. I'm a little, little, little flower just above the little lily lake.

I like to stay in one place. Everyone in my family just wishes to be able to move.

I don't know why there are so many things to see in one place and so many places to go in you mind.

They always try to kick and squirm to get out of their sail, but it never works.

Sometimes I see boats go by and there are humans in them. I want to know all about these giant flowers with thick leaves covering their roots.

Bammmmm! I turn around and see that one of the flowers has pushed so hard that she flew out of the soil. Everyone started cheering without noticing that she wasn't moving at all. Finally, my sister Rebecca shouted that she was not moving.

And the flower funeral began. I was first up to see her body. I sprinkled flower petals all over her body. And when the funeral was over we all went to bed.

"Good Morning," one of the flowers said even though no one was up, except for me. So I said good morning back. It had rained that night, so I decided to drink the water that had not dried up from the hot sun. The hot sun seemed like it had the power to wilt all the leaves on the trees.

We had a big breakfast that morning and from then on no one wished for anything again.
